Karolina Jasiulewicz specialises in pharmaceutical law, company law, handling of controlled activities.

Her responsibilities are:

  • preparation and negotiation of transaction documentation 
  • conduct and coordination of due diligence on companies
  • support to clients in the preparation and negotiation of commercial contracts and the day-to-day running of their business
  • support to companies in controlled and regulated industries
  • ongoing legal assistance to nationwide entities in the pharmaceutical industry. 

The experience of Ms Jasiulewicz to date covers: 

  • support in obtaining a alcohol wholesale permit in Poland for a leading global carbonated beverage brand
  • coordination, as part of her legal assistance to an international capital group operating in the gambling market, of the process of obtaining a license to operate gambling casinos in Poland
  • day-to-day transactional services for companies in the insurance industry
  • specialissation in advertising issues for alcoholic beverages as well as medicines and dietary supplements
  • active membership of think-tanks aimed at improving the situation on the Polish healthcare market.


She specialises in the procedure for the acquisition, sale and marketing of medicinal products. 
Her other experience includes advice on:

  • clinical trials of medicinal products and medical devices
  • applying for reimbursement of medicines, medical devices and special foodstuffs
  • registration of medicines and post-registration changes
  • preparation of pharmacovigilance agreements (PhV, pharmacovigilance)
  • cooperation between pharmaceutical wholesalers and pharmacies 
  • proceedings before the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspectorate (GIF), Office for Registration of  Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products (URPL), Ministry of Health (MZ) and pharmaceutical law cases
  • industry codes of good practice
  • Regulatory Compliance.


Ms Jasiulewicz provides comprehensive services to foreign companies which start business operations in Poland, including:

  • advice on optimising the legal form of the business
  • setting up commercial law companies with foreign capital 
  • carrying out the process of hiring employees and recapitalising companies.


Ms Jasiulewicz graduated with honours from the thirtieth best law faculty in the world and the best law faculty in London, at the prestigious Queen Mary University (in The Guardian 2017 ranking). She has also worked as a legal advisor at the QMUL Legal Advice Centre in London, where she advised clients on commercial and immigration law matters, in collaboration with the legal team at Clifford Chance LLP. She was selected by Reed Smith LLP as one of LAC's top ten legal advisers in 2014. Prior to joining GRK, she gained experience at Greenberg Traurig LLP, B2R law and Kochański & Partners Sp. k.

  • advising on distribution and marketing channels for dietary supplements and on consumer issues, including representation before the relevant administrative authorities
  • advising on advertising of OTC products and issues related to registration of medicinal products and medical devices
  • advising on a commercial transaction with a leading European generic manufacturer
  •  aegal services to an Austrian medical equipment manufacturer in several M&A projects, mainly Polish family businesses operating in the medical equipment sector
  • advising on the advertising and distribution of medicinal products, including representation in disputes with competitors.
