Paweł Tabora advises clients on preparing and negotiating contracts, as well as dealing with comprehensive dispute resolution with particular emphasis on commercial disputes – at every stage of the proceedings.
He provides legal assistance:
- to media and entertainment entities
- for audiovisual productions (including the drafting and negotiation of contracts, terms and conditions and procedures)
- to agencies and authors as part their activities
- to clients on obtaining financial support for audiovisual productions.
He has been responsible for legal support of various international audiovisual productions, including those created for global streaming platforms.
Mr Tabora has advised on a number of M&A transactions, to include:
- legal due diligence
- contract preparation and negotiation
- overseeing due performance of agreements.
He has experience in advising and representing entities in disputes of a precedent-setting and international nature, including very high-value disputes for damages.
He is a law graduate of the Jagiellonian University (2018), and during his studies he was a winner of the Jagiellonian University Rector’s scholarship for one of the best students, and also provided pro bono legal assistance within the Civil Law Section of the Jagiellonian University Student Legal Clinic (2017-2018). During his studies, he also completed an internship at the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the United Nations in New York, where he participated in the organisation of visits of delegations to the opening sessions of the UN General Assembly, as well as in the preparations for Poland's function as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.
Prior to joining GRK, he gained experience at the law firm Porwisz i Partnerzy – Adwokaci i Radcowie Prawni (2018-2022).
Between 2019 and 2021, he served his legal training at the Kraków Bar Association of Attorneys at Law, during which he and his team won the First Arbitration Tournament for Trainee Attorneys at Law organised by the National Bar Council of Attorneys at Law.
He passed his professional exam in 2022, obtaining one of the best results among the candidates at the Kraków Bar Association of Attorneys at Law.
